We've heard a few book messages on IMN. Some of them do not fully follow the procedure set forth by ARRL, as well as other agencies which deal with this type of traffic. The message parts are the same, but sent a bit differently.
Let us assume we have a book of three messages. We send it as follows:
Book of 3 (Precedence) (Handling instructions) Station of Origination, Check, Place of Origin, Date. This preamble is followed by a break (BT) and next the Text is send, followed by a break (BT) and Signature. After this, the prosign (AR) is sent.
Now begin with message numbers and addresses. After each address, we send the prosign (AR) and after the last address send another prosign (AR) and the words "end of book of three".
Example: "BOOK OF THREE R HXG W7GHT ARL 3 BOISE ID JUL 4 (BT)
ARL FORTY SIX (BT)

Sorry about that, Phil. Can't make your phone number public!!!
